the best thing that ever happened to me this year is having to travel with my family. we don’t always have the chance to be together because all of us are busy with school, jobs, etc. but this summer, we had our trip together. and it was just so fulfilling to be able to be with them after a long time. 🙂

The best thing that happened to me this year was that I was able to go out of the country to Vietnam to meet my grandparents. I’m 17 years old and I finally met my grandparents for the very first time this year and it felt amazing. I was able to spend a month with them and I couldn’t ask for more. My grandparents aren’t followers of Christ yet but once I visit them again I’m hoping to spread the gospel to them.

The best thing that has happened to me this year would have to be seeing my cousin get married. She is one of my closest friends, and I absolutely loved seeing her so happy and finding the right guy for her! It was a great wedding!

The best thing that’s ever happened to me this year is finally deciding to get back into shape. I’ve always struggled with weight loss my whole life, teased as I was growing up and discouraged from doing things I never thought possible. But ever since I started dancing for Carson Streetdance & VENT Dance Team it made me overcome those impossible obstacles, I started losing weight, I started to feel better about myself & gain more confidence than ever. With that said, I want to continue on this path to heathy living & motivative lifestyle. Thanks to the greatest support system – my family, friends (both from the valley & Carson 😉 ) & loved one! The best thing that happened to me this year is learning how to play the guitar. Ever since I’ve learned how to play, I started playing for my church. I always thought I wasn’t good enough but since I’m so thankful and appreciative of my parents, they’ve taught me that whether I’m good or not, I’m pleasing God and making him happy because I’m worshipping him and praising him with the talent he’s given me. I thank God for this opportunity because playing the guitar is so peaceful an I enjoying performing at church.

The best thing that happened to me this year, hmmm…I don’t even know where to begin. But what I can say is that this year was the definite year when I actually discovered myself and who I actually was. I’ve been a follower of Christ ever since I was 5 years old however as I’ve been growing up my faith in God seemed to have fade. I would ignore the gospel and I would just go to church in order to see my friends. I completely avoided God and I regret doing that. But when I went to a revival conference, acquire the fire, it completely changed me. I finally put a stop to what was making me seem like a fake. I grew again in my faith in God and now I’m thankful for everything. I don’t go to church just to see friends, but to grow in God and have a closer relationship. It’s helping me through obstacles in life and knowing that I’ve made a big transition like this, I’m so appreciative with the friends and family members that I have. – Christine xxxx

Every day, God wakes me up, gives me breath and purpose, every day, I get to love my husband and children and all those He puts in my path. Every day, I have the opportunity to fall more in love with Him and become more like Him.
